When I started my very first blog back in 2012( The Political Opinion), much of my time and attention went into creating meaningful content. As I continued blogging, however, I realized that I needed to spend time building my blog audience through the strategic implementation of tips and tricks designed to bring traffic to my blog. If you are interested in making your blog commercially and/or culturally successful, this should be your focus, too. Although there are a plethora of blog marketing strategies you can implement in order to market your blog more effectively, adding useful tabs can be particularly helpful. This is the case for several reasons, including the fact that tabs are easy to click and help separate information into unique categories. These categories enable your users to quickly access the data they want. While there are a variety of tabs you can integrate into your blog for the purpose of adding value to it, the following three can be particularly helpful:
A great resume lets your reader know what credentials you have. Whether it’s education, experience, or a combination of the two, your resume shows the reader why you’re qualified to discuss the topic you’re blogging about. Additionally, a great resume can lead into other business opportunities that help you market your blog more effectively.
If you are using your blog as a platform through which you advertise goods or services, including a tab for testimonials can be very advantageous. In short, testimonials show your reader that the services and products you offer have somehow been of assistance for the individuals who used them. Thus the Testimonial button becomes an incentive for new visitors to your blog to buy something. (Make sure you add a “Buy” tab so your new customers can make purchases easily.)
FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions).
A FAQ tab can be very beneficial to you as a blogger. This is the case for many reasons, including the fact that your viewers will likely find it helpful to gain access to basic information about your blog. Moreover, since your FAQ tab is about questions that people are likely to ask, your viewers will probably get at least one answer to a question that was on their mind. This can often preclude them from sending you e-mails which you feel the need to respond to personally, thus saving time for both yourself and the reader.
While the strategies listed above are not a comprehensive list of all the tabs you could add to a blog, they are a helpful start. Once you begin implementing them, you will likely find that you are able to drive more traffic to your blog. Good luck! 🙂
